[WORKSHOP] JAIF 2025 : A Day Dedicated to Embedded Systems Security

Journée d'étude / Recherche

On October 1, 2025

CyberAlps is proud to sponsor the Thematic Day on Fault Injection Attacks (JAIF), which will take place on October 1st, 2025 at Minatec, Grenoble.

Fault injection attacks are a well-known technique exploited by attackers to extract confidential data from embedded systems. These attacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated, involving for example multiple injections or combinations with side-channel observations, which makes protecting systems ever more challenging.

The goal of this event is to bring together the academic, industrial, and governmental communities to foster new collaborations across domains ranging from physics to software, in order to design:

  • Tools for fault injection, and fault models,

  • Simulation tools and formal methods to evaluate robustness and understand the impact of faults,

  • Security proofs,

  • Hardware or software protections or detection mechanisms,

  • Tools automating the design of robust embedded systems.

The program is designed to encourage exchanges between participants through presentations and discussions. It will feature:

  • Keynote talks by senior researchers and industry experts,

  • Presentations selected from submitted abstracts,

  • Poster sessions during breaks and lunch,

  • A convivial social event in the evening.
