Séminaire
On March 6, 2024
We are delighted to invite you to a new cybersecurity breakfast, on Wednesday March 6th 2024, in the IMAG auditorium from 9am to 11am.
What's on the agenda?
1.MAKI: A Public Key Infrastructure for Multi-Agent Embedded Systems, by Arthur Baudet, Temporary Teaching and Research Associate, Grenoble INP - Esisar, LCIS
"The multi-agent paradigm is a promising solution for the decentralized design and autonomous control of distributed systems of embedded devices, where each device is considered an agent. Particularly for highly dynamic systems where central control is impossible and the dynamics require real-time adaptation of the system. However, runtime adaptation and the absence of entities centralizing system control and information restrict the use of security tools and standards, such as those used for cryptographic key management. I therefore propose MAKI, a Public Key Infrastructure enabling cryptographic key management for embedded multi-agent systems."

2. Security of post-quantum cryptography against side-channel attacks, by Guillaume GOY, research engineer, XLIM, University of Limoges
"With the development of the quantum computer, the security of modern cryptology is under threat. New so-called post-quantum cryptosystems, or those resistant to attacks by quantum computers, are being studied to counter this threat. Among them, schemes based on error-correcting codes will be the focus of our attention. Although their cryptographic security is mathematically proven, these schemes can be the target of auxiliary channel attacks, exploiting the behavior of the computer running the algorithm (computation time, current consumption, electromagnetic radiation...). Using the example of Hamming Quasi-Cyclic (HQC) attacks, we will discuss how to defend against this type of physical attack."
This work was carried out as part of a thesis directed by the CEA and the University of Limoges. For more information :
