On January 2018, Karine Bannelier and Theodore Christakis received the Cyberdefense Book Award for their book “
Cyber-Attacks – Prevention-Reactions: The Role of States and Private Actors” (Les Cahiers de la Revue Défense Nationale, Paris, 2017). The award was presented by French Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Parly on January 23rd 2018 in Lille during the International Cybersecurity Forum (FIC 2018).
The book was written as a contribution to the UNESCO conference
Building International Peace and Security in the Electronic and Digital Society - Public and Private Stakeholders, Roles and Responsibilities, which took place in Paris on April 6th-7th 2017.
